What time should I arrive?
The ceremony is at 1:00PM so we are asking all guests to arrive just after 12:00PM or 12:30PM at the latest, so there is plenty of time to get seated.
How accessible is the venue?
The venue is mostly on the same level, there are a couple of stairs to get to the ceremony and a few more down to the gardens if you choose to take a look around. Most of the overnight rooms are accessible via lift, please let us or the Ravenswood know using 01342 810216 (option 1) and we can assist booking an accessible room if needed.
What is the Dress Code?
No white dresses ... only one may stand! (and its Mel!)
Other than that its a wedding, i don't know dress up! (but not fancy dress we don't mean that, don't be clever!)
Do you have a gift registry?
No. We don't need gifts, but if you see something and think of us then we would love it. If you would like to contribute money towards the honeymoon there will be a card post box and it will be gratefully received, but more than anything we would just love your attendance on our special day.
Warning: money gifts might be spent on more Warhammer.
Can we stay overnight at the venue?
Yes there are lots of rooms available at the Ravenswood you can book using the below link.
Your invite should have the password, if you are missing it or have lost the invite please email us and we can send the details again.
Check in for rooms is from 3PM however we advise waiting until after the Wedding Breakfast (Main Meal) around 7PM
Check out time the next morning is 10:30am
Full Breakfast is included between 8:00am to 10:00am
The registered guest of the room booking will need to provide a valid payment card in their name and one photo ID at time of check in. So don't trash the room or they will find you!
I have lost the room booking code what do I do?
Drop us an email and we can send you room booking code again!
How will the seating at the Wedding Breakfast work?
It has already been decided, don't worry about it, don't resist and don't fight it ... it's just a few hours!
Use it as a chance to make new friends or reminisce with your enemies!
Is it a band or a DJ?
It is a DJ!
Do you have a song request? Ask Chub Chub to deliver it to us and you might hear it play!
What is this thing with the Chub Chub?
That is just what we call birds, to us every bird is a Chub Chub and it is especially a Chub Chub if you photoshop a hat on it.
